Collective nouns do sound funny...

Collect salmon and you have a school; collect eagles and you have a convocation.
Collect rhinos and you have a crash; collect kangaroos and you have a mob.
Collect ravens and you have a murder; collect larks and you have an exaltation.
Collect frogs and you have an army; collect officers and you have a mess.
Collect bacteria and you have a culture; collect owls and you have a parliament!
